Remembered for so many accomplishments during his career, the “Sultan of Swat” homered an incredible 714 times and led the Bronx Bombers to seven American League pennants and four World Series titles. Hunt Auctions President Dave Hunt and a partner purchased the ball directly from the original owner who claimed to have dated the ball himself the day he got it (The Babe’s last appearance at Yankee Stadium on June 13, 1948). He also added an inscription marking the day Babe Ruth passed away (Aug. 16, 1948). The ball is in good condition with Ruth’s signature on the sweet spot.
